I'm from Chicago, born and raised. I began working in the food industry while going to school and eventually lead me into the career path I am on today. I've worked with Aramark for over 8 years, started in Business Dining sector and wanted to take on the challenge of coming to Higher Education when I came to Loyola in 2019.
I was born and raised in the Southeast side of Chicago, and yes, that’s what the area is called. I am Mexican American, who loves Mexican food but open to other foods. I started here about 10 years ago as a catering attendant, from there I developed a love for Culinary.
Azra has been with Loyola Dining since 2009. She loves to spend her summer traveling to her home country of Bosnia.
Raised in the Southside of Chicago, I’ve spent the past eight years working for various restaurants and chains throughout the Loop. I have always been passionate about the Food Service Industry and providing a quality experience for everyone who comes through our doors. Whenever I can, I try to spend my days soaking up the sun and being out in nature away from the busy city. I’m very happy to be a part of the Dining Team here at Loyola.
I was born and raised on the west side of Chicago, IL. My family always had a thing for food as my mother started me young in the kitchen assisting her with meals that she would prepare for her customers. I eventually went off to further my education at Wayne State University located in Detroit, MI. Once there I was hired for Aramark in November of 2015 by none other than our district manager herself, and I worked my way up the ranks, obtaining as much knowledge as I could. Jillian and my mentor Jamell took a chance on me and helped mold me into the man I am still working on becoming today. I expect big things from our team as well as myself and I won’t let us settle for anything short of it. I am grateful to be apart of this amazing team!
